Making Your Lash Set
Last Longer.

Lash extensions shed naturally along with your own lash cycle — that part is completely normal and out of your hands. What is in your hands is everything else: how you clean them, how you sleep, and what you put near your eyes. Get those right and a set that would normally need a fill in 2 weeks can comfortably stretch closer to 3 or 4.

The first 24 to 48 hours

Keep your lashes completely dry for the first 24 hours after application so the adhesive has time to fully cure. That means no swimming, no long hot showers with your face directly in the water stream, and no facials or saunas during that window.

Daily care that actually matters

  • Cleanse daily. A lash-safe cleanser removes oil and buildup at the lash line, which is the single biggest factor in how long a set lasts. Skipping this is the most common reason lashes shed early.
  • Avoid oil-based products near the eyes. Oil breaks down lash adhesive. Check your makeup remover, moisturizer, and even some sunscreens.
  • Brush gently every morning. A clean spoolie keeps lashes separated and looking intentional, not tangled.
  • Don't rub or pull. It sounds obvious, but tired-eye rubbing is one of the fastest ways to lose lashes before their time.

Sleeping without wrecking your set

Side and stomach sleepers put more friction on their lashes overnight than back sleepers do. If you can't change your sleep position, a silk pillowcase reduces friction significantly and is worth the small investment if you get extensions regularly.

When to book your fill

Most clients come back every 2 to 3 weeks. If it's been longer, or you're noticing more bare patches than usual, book a fill sooner rather than waiting — it's easier (and often less expensive) to maintain a full set than to rebuild one that's gotten too sparse.
