If your brows are naturally sparse, unruly, or just never seem to hold a shape, brow lamination is one of the lowest-effort, highest-payoff treatments I offer. Here's what it actually does, and how to help it last.
What brow lamination actually does
Think of it as a perm, but for your eyebrows. A gentle solution restructures the hair so it can be brushed and set in a new direction — usually up and out — giving the illusion of fuller, more symmetrical brows without any tint, tattoo, or microblading involved. It's completely non-permanent and grows out naturally with your hair cycle.
How long it lasts
Most clients get 6 to 8 weeks out of a single session, though this varies depending on your hair's natural growth cycle and how you care for them afterward. Pairing lamination with a tint adds definition and tends to make the result look more finished, especially for lighter or thinner brows.
Caring for laminated brows
- Keep them dry for 24 hours after your appointment so the treatment fully sets.
- Brush them daily with a spoolie, ideally right after cleansing while they're still slightly damp, to keep the set direction looking intentional.
- Use a nourishing brow serum most nights. Lamination is a chemical process, and a little extra conditioning keeps hair from feeling dry or brittle as it grows out.
- Avoid oil-heavy skincare directly on the brow area — oil breaks down the set faster than anything else.
Is it right for you?
Brow lamination works well for almost everyone, but it's an especially good fit if you've got sparse spots you normally fill in with makeup, or brow hair that grows in a direction you're constantly fighting. If you're not sure, a quick consultation is the easiest way to find out.
