A Simple Routine
Between Facials.

A great facial gets you a real, visible reset. What you do at home in the weeks after is what decides whether that reset holds or fades fast. The good news: it doesn't take a ten-step routine, just a few consistent habits.

The non-negotiables

  • Cleanse morning and night. A gentle, non-stripping cleanser is the single highest-impact habit in any routine. If you only do one thing consistently, make it this.
  • Moisturize daily. Even oily skin needs it — skipping moisturizer often just triggers more oil production to compensate.
  • SPF, every single day. This is the one step that actually protects everything else you're doing. Unprotected sun exposure undoes facial results faster than almost anything.

What to add, and when

Actives like retinol, vitamin C, and exfoliating acids are genuinely useful, but they're also the most common way people accidentally irritate their skin. Introduce one new active at a time, give it a couple of weeks before judging results, and always pause actives for a few days before your next facial (your esthetician will tell you exactly when).

What to skip between facials

Avoid stacking multiple strong actives at once (a retinol and a strong acid exfoliant, for example), and resist the urge to over-exfoliate at home just because your skin felt so smooth after a treatment. Let professional exfoliation do the deep work, and keep your home routine focused on maintaining, not replacing, it.

When in doubt, ask

The products you use at home should work with your in-studio treatments, not against them. If you're not sure whether something in your current routine is helping or working against your results, bring it up at your next appointment — it's a five-minute conversation that can save weeks of frustration.
